Christian Practices Courses
Certificate in Christian Practices
The Certificate in Christian Practices is designed to guide believers into a deeper and more intentional life with God through the historic rhythms of the Christian life.
Rather than approaching spiritual growth as information to be learned, this pathway invites participants into practices that shape the whole of life. Through prayer, Scripture, stillness, generosity, and daily attentiveness to God’s presence, participants begin to experience formation that is steady, practical, and sustainable.
Offered in affiliation with the Online Bible Institute Network and the Jesus Moment Bible Institute and Seminary, this certificate brings together accessible theological learning and lived spiritual formation. It provides a clear pathway for those who desire to grow in their relationship with God in a way that is both grounded and transformative.
All courses within this certificate may also be applied toward the Associate and Bachelor’s degree programs offered through the Online Bible Institute Network, allowing participants to integrate their spiritual formation journey with their broader theological education.
The courses within the Certificate in Christian Practices are currently in development and are expected to be available in Spring 2027. This page reflects the full pathway as it is being prepared, and we look forward to making these resources available in the coming season.
A Guided Pathway of Formation
The Certificate in Christian Practices is built around a unified formation pathway. Each course is designed to help participants engage specific rhythms of the Christian life while also contributing to a larger journey of spiritual growth.
As participants move through the certificate, they are not only learning about these practices but gradually incorporating them into daily life through guided exercises, reflection, and application.
The goal is not simply to complete courses, but to form a life that is rooted in prayer, shaped by Scripture, attentive to God’s presence, and expressed through love.
Where Courses Are Completed
All courses within the Certificate in Christian Practices are completed through the Jesus Moment Bible Institute and Seminary, a part of the Online Bible Institute Network.
This online platform allows participants to complete the courses at their own pace while remaining connected to the larger formation pathway.
Through this partnership, participants are able to combine structured learning with personal spiritual practice in a way that supports both growth and sustainability.
Courses completed as part of this certificate may also be applied toward the Associate and Bachelor’s degree programs offered through the Online Bible Institute Network, allowing participants to continue building toward a broader theological education as they engage the formation pathway.
Courses will be available through the Jesus Moment Bible Institute and Seminary beginning in Spring 2027.

Participate in a Formation Initiative
In addition to the coursework, participants will take part in one formation initiative. These initiatives provide a relational and guided environment where participants can reflect, grow, and be encouraged alongside others.
Each initiative offers a unique context for applying the practices of the pathway in real-life settings such as ministry, work, stewardship, and community.
These initiatives are hosted through our Church Encourager platform, where formation is experienced in guided and relational environments.
Initiative Options
Church Encourager Initiative
A relational journey designed to encourage pastors and ministry leaders through listening, reflection, and spiritual support. It creates space to be heard, renewed, and strengthened in the midst of ministry life.

Kingdom Influence Project
A guided initiative that helps believers live out their faith with greater clarity, wisdom, and integrity in the workplace and everyday life.

Virtual Church Spark Initiative
A supportive pathway focused on renewal, encouragement, and fresh vision for churches and ministry leaders in changing contexts.

Kingdom Stewardship Initiative
A formation initiative focused on developing faithful stewardship of finances, time, and resources. It helps participants grow in wisdom, generosity, and trust as they learn to manage what God has entrusted to them.

As part of each formation initiative, participants will also complete the Kingdom Encouragers Course.
This course focuses on cultivating a posture of listening, encouragement, and spiritual attentiveness in relationships. It helps participants grow in their ability to support others while remaining grounded in their own life with God.
In this way, personal formation naturally extends into the encouragement and strengthening of others.
The Goal of the Certificate
The goal of the Certificate in Christian Practices is not simply to inform, but to form. It is an invitation to step into a life shaped by prayer, grounded in Scripture, attentive to the presence of God, and expressed through love for others.
The courses in this certificate help shape a life rooted in prayer, Scripture, and attentiveness to God. The formation initiatives provide practical settings where that growth can be lived out in ministry, stewardship, work, and community. That way, the certificate becomes more than a learning pathway. It becomes a way of living.
